Sage maxima is an evergreen perennial featuring a compact habit with giant, woolly or silvery leaves, ‘Maxima’, like its predecessors can be used to flavor meats of various kinds or can be added to cheeses, sauces or oils to make your culinary creations scrumptious. Plant in pots on patios or add to the garden landscape. Leaves provide wonderful flavor to eggs, soups, meats, and gravies. Use leaves fresh, or dry and keep in an airtight container.
